Temples are to Southeast Asia what cathedrals are to Europe. On seemingly every corner, ornate Buddhist, Hindu and other temples and pagodas decorate the cityscape. Phnom Penh is no exception–the city is filled with gorgeous places of worship, peaceful monks, and religious art. Since temples are something that don’t need a lot of explanation (beautiful things almost never do), please enjoy these temples shots, and forgive my lack of words. Sometimes, there just are no words.

The melancholy monk. He looks so relaxed and I love the color. I’m enjoying your Cambodia pictures as my daughter and her fiance did mission work there last July.
I too love that monk photo! That’s really cool about your daughter, what did she do and where was she working?
Hey! Just nominated you for the Liebster Award! Check out my blog for more details!
